Nadiad nagar palika is very keen to develop various public realm in the city for it to gain the healthy recreational spaces.

The lake being one of the most important public realm in the city,

Nagar palika wants to develop the “Kheta Lake” to be one of the role model for the recreational place in the city. These have been incorporated the design process. The nodes and junctions have been worked out to gain maximum possible public edge for the city to breath near and surrounding the lake. These have been enhance though various public activities. i.e. food stalls, art and craft gallery, restaurants, performance areas, gym, senior citizen sitting area, amusement park, children play area, walk ways etc

The extension of the project have been envisioned to connect the Kheta lake with other institutions through plantations and walkways. To create a sustainable water body and recharge the ground, it is advised to connect all water bodies with channel of connections.
